The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is thrilled to announce an internship programme through its Centre for Happiness and Well-Being (CHWB). This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience, engage in cutting-edge research, and enhance your career prospects.

Programme Overview

This one-month internship programme is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. Participants will be involved in various activities, including group discussions, classroom sessions, research projects, and clinical case exposure.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing the final year of undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
  • A minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and all subsequent semester examinations.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior knowledge of psychology.
  • Only students enrolled in regular courses from UGC Recognized Universities are eligible.

Application Requirements

Interested candidates must submit:

  • A 500-word Statement of Purpose explaining their motivation for joining the internship.
  • A Letter of Recommendation from their College/University/Department Head.
  • An online application form available here.

The selection process will be based on 75% merit (average marks from previous semesters) and 25% performance in an online interview with experts.

Programme Highlights

The internship includes approximately 10 sessions covering various aspects of Forensic Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. Key activities include:

  • Group discussions and classroom sessions.
  • Interaction sessions with the CHWB Head and the Dean of the School of Behavioural Forensics.
  • Research and project work on clinical forensic and neuropsychology topics.
  • Paper review presentations.
  • Clinical case exposure.
  • Neuropsychology laboratory research demonstrations and exposure.

Facilities for Interns

Interns will have access to:

  • Library facilities.
  • Course materials and readings.
  • Active participation in case discussions for OPD clients.
  • Practical demonstrations in Neuropsychology and Clinical Labs.

Important Information

This is a non-residential programme with a fee of 10,000 INR per month for non-NFSU candidates and 5,000 INR per month for NFSU students. The fee is non-refundable.

Interns are responsible for their travel and incidental costs.

Regular attendance is mandatory, and attendance will be tracked.
