Recruitment Announcement for Contractual Faculty Positions at NFSU Guwahati
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), the world’s first and only university dedicated exclusively to forensic and allied sciences, is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor on a contractual basis at its Guwahati campus. Established by the Government of India through the Act of 2020, NFSU aims to address the increasing demand for forensic experts in India and globally.

General Terms and Conditions
- Contractual Basis: The positions are on a contractual basis for 11 months, extendable based on performance or until a regular incumbent is appointed.
- No Claim for Permanent Appointment: The contractual engagement does not confer any right to claim a permanent appointment.
- Right to Accept or Reject Applications: The University reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
- Verification of Documents: The University will verify the antecedents and documents submitted by candidates. Any discrepancies will result in termination.
- Discretionary Changes: The University may offer positions at lower levels, draw reserve panels, consider candidates "in absentia," and relax qualifications/experience requirements.
- Compliance with Reservation Policy: The recruitment will comply with the Reservation Policy of the Government of India.

Essential Information and Clarifications
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. The list of shortlisted candidates and interview schedules will be posted on the NFSU website and communicated via email.
- Interview: Depending on the number of candidates, interviews may extend till late in the day or to subsequent days. Candidates should make necessary arrangements.
- Original Documents: Candidates must produce original documents at the time of the interview.
