Dr. Suryapratap Ray is a distinguished figure in forensic science and academia, seamlessly bridging the worlds of investigation and scholarly pursuit. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the renowned Vellore Institute of Technology in India, Dr. Ray's academic journey exemplifies his unwavering commitment to unraveling the complexities of forensic science.

Dr. Ray's foundational experiences were forged during his tenure at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Kolkata, India, where he served as a Forensic Professional in the Division of Chemistry (Explosives). He was intricately involved in every facet of forensic analysis, from case inception to the meticulous wet lab and instrumental analyses required for explosive identification. His expertise and precision were instrumental in ensuring the accurate resolution of a myriad of cases, earning him a reputation as a skilled forensic practitioner.

Transitioning seamlessly into academia, Dr. Ray assumed the role of Assistant Professor at the esteemed Karunya Institute of Technology and Science in Coimbatore, India. In this capacity, he not only imparted his wealth of knowledge in forensic chemistry and advanced toxicology to aspiring forensic scientists but also actively engaged in collaborative research projects with students and colleagues.
