About National Testing Agency (NTA)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) was created by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, as an autonomous and self-reliant premier testing organization. Formed under the Society Registration Act of 1860, its mission is to conduct efficient, transparent, and internationally standardized tests. These assessments evaluate candidates' knowledge, competency, and abilities for admission to top educational institutions and other purposes.
About National Forensic Science University (NFSU)
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), recognized as an Institution of National Importance, was established by the Government of India through the Act of 2020 (32 of 2020). It is the world's first and only university focused exclusively on Forensic Science and related disciplines.
NFSU encompasses a variety of schools that cover a broad spectrum of academic fields, including Forensic Science, Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, Behavioral Sciences, Forensic Psychology, Management Studies, Police Science and Security Studies, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, Medico-legal Studies and Law, and Doctoral Studies and Research. The university offers over 70 postgraduate and integrated courses.
National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for administering the National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT), which is used for entry into various undergraduate, postgraduate, and postgraduate diploma programs at NFSU. The exam will be conducted in a computerized test format.
