Crime Scene Investigation Event Guidelines:
Dear Participants,
Welcome to the Crime Scene Investigation Event! We are excited to have you showcase your investigative skills. Please follow these guidelines for a smooth and engaging event:
1. Case Study Distribution:
- Each team will be provided with a case study in advance. Please thoroughly analyze the case to prepare for the event.
2. Crime Scene Presentation:
- Create a detailed sketch and report related to the assigned case.
- Present your findings on the designated event day.
3. Poster Creation:
- Develop a poster that vividly depicts the crime scene of the assigned case. Use visuals and annotations to enhance clarity.
4. Event Day Presentation:
- On the event day, designate one team member to present the work done by the entire team.
- The presentation should include a summary of the case report, sketch, and crime scene details. Keep it concise; the time limit is 5 minutes.
5. Time Management:
- Respect the time constraints to ensure every team has an equal opportunity to present their findings.
6. Judging Criteria:
- Teams will be evaluated based on the accuracy and detail of their crime scene depiction, the coherence of the case report, and the effectiveness of the presentation.
7. Q&A Session:
- Be prepared for a brief Q&A session following your presentation. Judges may inquire about your investigative process and decisions.
8. Professionalism:
- Maintain a professional demeanor during the event. Clear communication and teamwork will be key components of evaluation.
