Biometrics basically the measurement and statistical analysis of person’s Physical and Behavioural Characteristics

It is mainly used for identification or access control  

Types Of Biometric:

Biometric is basically of two types which are further sub-categorised

1. Physical Biometric
2. Behavioural Biometric  

Biometric identification:

  Biometric Identification involves mainly two steps:

      1. Enrolment:

           It is first step in which data for identification is entered and stored in the system.

      2. Authentication:

           It is the process in which authentication of input is carried out by matching with stored data
